Public guided tours
Public guided tours of the MAKK are offered by the museum service and the so-called Arbeitskreis, the MAKK's volunteers. The guided tours provide an in-depth insight into the exhibitions and are based on dialogue and at eye level. They last one hour and the number of participants is limited. On the day of the tour, you will receive a sticker at the ticket office that entitles you to take part in the tour. The meeting point is in the foyer at the museum ticket office.
The guided tours of the museum service take place every Tuesday, on Long Thursday / Cologne Day and on the first Sunday of the month in the permanent or special exhibitions. The guided tours in the special exhibitions cost €2, in the permanent collections they are free of charge.
The volunteers' guided tours take place on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 pm and are generally free of charge.
