“The 118 is an honest wooden chair for restaurants or the table at home. Reduced, yet elegant thanks to sophisticated details. It shows direct references to Thonet through the bentwood and the Viennese weave. In order to offer the color a dialogue with the room, we have deliberately defined edges and curves on the legs where the light refracts.”

Bag “VEGA.structures in disguise”

“I had the opportunity to deal photographically with the visible and invisible structures of the museum in order to make them reappear hidden within the bag.
Motif 1: In order to grasp the grid-like structure of the museum roof, it is worth raising your gaze in space. The viewer finds this structure in the “VEGA MAKKedition” by lowering their gaze.
Motif 2: The legs that can be seen in the inside pocket belong to a member of the MAKK security service. He protects the museum's treasures. This is the connection to the “VEGA”. In it, we know that the most important things we carry with us for the day are in good hands.”

"Twig" lamp

“Inspired by the ramifications of a tree, I designed decorative table lamps made of glass, polished brass and a circular base made of marble or ceramic for the MAKKedition. The interplay of materials, surfaces, shapes and proportions of the individual elements is finely coordinated. Fitted with an LED light source, the light sculptures create a warm ambient light in living spaces.”
